Step Up to the Plate

Psalm 27:14 Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!

Proverbs 19:21 Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.

Ephesians 2:10  For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

Isaiah 46:9 and 10  Remember the former things of old, for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done, saying, my counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure,..

Robin's heart: In case you did't know, our Heavenly Father has a specially designed plan for your life. It's hard to believe, but scriptures say that He actually made the plan from before we were born. Just as His plan of redemption through Jesus Christ was determined before the foundation of the world, so too has He created a purpose and plan for us. We may veer off course sometimes, but if we are praying that His will be done in our lives, it shall be done. On the other hand, maybe even what we may consider as being off course may too be a part of His plan. He uses everything we experience to develop His character within us. He is the Potter, we are the clay. I'm learning that there are specific people that we must meet for His particular purpose. Some we meet like cars passing on a street just so we can show them the love of Jesus, while others we meet for more permanent reasons. I believe some people help boost our walk with God, and some we help boost. We need each other to grow in Him. It's a catalyst chain reaction system. One thing leads to another. He also has special assignments for us to do. He has given us gifts and talents to enable us to follow through. The more I learn about God and His ways the more I understand that He choreographs everything. I have countless examples of things that happen that on the surface may seem like a coincidence, but I know these are divine appointments with purpose. Our lives are meant to be a beautiful dance as we move to His spiritual rhythm. That's when we flow in righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. I love that place, and I do my best to stay there and trust God to help me. It is so important to not allow the spirit of fear to stop us from stepping up to the plate. God has things for us to do that only we can do. He created us for greater purposes. For more than going to work or raising a family.

Today's message: Seek Him continually to hear what's on His agenda each day! I have started to pray daily for His will to be done every day in both my life, and in the lives of the people I love and care about. I also pray for you who read this blog. Whoever or wherever you may be! Jesus commanded us to pray this way. "Our Father who art in heaven, we honor your holy name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven!" That way no matter what happens I trust the Lord God Almighty is in control and has purposed everything. Also, I believe this prayer cancels Satan's plan and our own selfish plans for the day. Amen.

Isaiah 14:24  The Lord of hosts has sworn: "As I have planned, so shall it be, and as I have purposed, so shall, it stand.
