We Are Being Programmed

Genesis 6:5. And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And the Lord was sorry that He made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart.

2 Corinthians 2:10  Casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ..

2 Corinthians 4:3-4  But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.

Robin's heart: Our brains function like a computer. Throughout every day we are receiving data that is being entered and stored. In other words our processor is being programmed. Our brains then use this information to help us function each day. Whether it be as simple as deciding what to eat, or as serious as deciding where your money is spent. The question is what are we feeding our brains? If we are allowing this worlds system to fill our minds with garbage, then we will be a vessel of dishonor. Our thought lives will be filled with thoughts of perversion, fear, and every evil intent. Our minds will be taken captive by the wicked one. We must not let this happen. Let us eat from the tree of life, and not the tree of good and evil.

We are continually being bombared with data. From the music we hear, to the tv programs we watch, to the internet news and websites we view, and to the people we communicate with. All of these encounters are influencing our processors. To serve God wholeheartedly we must protect our ear gates and eye gates as much as possible. To live a life that pleases the Lord Jesus Christ we must fill our minds with the word of God, and incorporate His truths into our minds and spirits. It is vitally important to protect our minds because our minds protect our spirits. Our spirits are the home of the Holy Spirit. As we grow in Christ, the Holy Spirit teaches and empowers us to protect our spirit man. This is an ongoing process. He has taught me to live a quiet and secluded life. Keeping outside influences to a minimum. That is how I can hear His beautiful voice. Away from the noise of this world.

To sum up the message: Data enters the brain through our senses, and creates memories. Our memories are used to create imaginations and ideas throughout our day. Next we talk about and discuss our imaginations, then eventually put them into action. This process can be used for good or evil. Satan works in our minds too. Learning to recognize him comes with time. He interjects his wishes upon us if we let him. Sin can be stopped, by stopping it's source. Stop the ungodly thoughts immediately and rebuke Satan if needed. I choose to think on pure, good, just, lovely, and things of a good report. How about you?

PHILIPPIANS 4:8  Finally brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of a good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

God's Reward

Acts 5:33-42
When they heard this, they were furious and plotted to kill them. Then one in the council stood up, a Pharisee named Gamliel, a teacher of the law held in respect by all the people, and commanded them to put the apostles outside for a little while. And he said to them: Men of Israel, take heed to yourselves what you intend to do to these men. For some time ago Theudas rose up, claiming to be somebody. A number of men, about four hundred, joined him. He was slain and all who obeyed him were scattered and came to nothing. After this man Judas of Galilee, rose up in the days of the census, and drew many people after him. He also perished, and all who obeyed him were dispersed. And now I say to you, keep away from these men and let them alone; for if this plan or this work is of men, it will come to nothing; but if it is of God, you can not overthrow it-lest you even be found to fight against God. And they agreed with him, and when they had called for the apostles and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go. So they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His name. And daily in the temple, and in every home, they did not cease teaching, and preaching, Jesus as the Christ.
Robin's heart: The original apostles, and their congregations endured great persecution in order to serve our Lord in their day. Unfortunately, persecution is on the increase, and for those of us with understanding we know the dark plans to stop God's children will escalate. In the above given scriptures there is much for us to learn and to draw comfort from to give us hope for the dark days ahead. First, we can clearly see that what Gamliel preached has stood the test of time. The enemy thought that his murderous plan would end Jesus's ministry, but oh was he wrong! Alleluia! Here we are 2000 years later, and Satan continues to work overtime through his servants to stop the message of truth. I wonder why he never learns? Second, it's also interesting to note that the actual meaning of the three names of the people in this story give a second story within the story. The name Gamliel means God's reward, Theudas means flowing with water, and Judas means praise. We can then put these names together to say: By following Jesus, God rewards us, out of our bellies flow rivers of living water, and Jesus receives our Praise!

The bible is filled with so much hidden wisdom. Time has shown us that the message of Jesus the Christ will continue for eternity because it is the truth. Satan beats, kills, deceives, imprisons, destroys, and steals, but he will never stop the truth from touching God's people all around the world. Let's do our part to continue spreading the good news that Jesus is the Christ! In closing, it is important to remember that it takes lots of courage to stand with Father God in this end time controlled by Satan society, but He alone is our strength and will one day carry us home. Amen.

Acts 4:29 Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to your servants that with boldness they may speak your word, by stretching out your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of your holy Servant Jesus.

Bag of Peanuts

1 Thessalonians 4:19  Do not quench the Spirit.

Ephesians 4:30  And grieve not the Holy Spirt of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Robin's heart: The bible is filled with lots of information. It's our go to guide to find the answers to life's problems. I'm really very thankful that Jesus spent so much time teaching us specifics about the Kingdom of God, but I'm more thankful that He gave us the "Bible for Dummies" condensed version. I believe He did this in the statement He made in Luke 10:27 by saying "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and love thy neightbor as thyself." If we follow these simple commands, we will please our Lord and Savior, and be empowered to overcome any problem life brings our way.

We have an invisible enemy. He currently has the upper hand in this regard because we can't see him. We may be able to see his influence, and sense his presence, but we can not actually see him. Well at least I can't as of yet. So let's just suppose for a second that we could see him. Suppose the spirit realm opened up for us all to clearly see every demon and all their manuveurs. What if we could actually see every person's demonic bondages. Do you think we may have more compassion on people who totally aggravate us at times if we could see a demon sitting on their backs holding them in a headlock? Demons and bondages are real. We just can't see them with our natural eyes. I think we really need to stop focusing so much on WHAT people are doing, and start focusing on WHY they are acting in a certain way. Instead of condemning, or allowing them to provoke us into acting in ways that grieve the Holy Spirit, maybe we need to allow the compassion of God to rise up in us and pray for them. If we follow our natural inclinations, and respond to people's ungodly behaviors and words according to satan's way then the enemy wins that battle, and we quench the Holy Spirit in our lives. We quench Him when we walk out of love. Picture yourself taking a fire extinguisher and putting out the fire of the Holy Spirit on your life when you step out of love. This is the last thing any believer wants to do, but our enemy tricks us into doing exactly that sometimes. Secondly, this fire quenching also simultaneously grieves the Holy Spirit because He knows we will be defeated without His help. Spiritual battles can only be won with spiritual weapons from on high. We really need to start seeing through the eyes of the Lord. Making wrong assumptions about people based upon what our eyes see or what our ears hear will cause us to stumble every time if we act on them.

Lesson to learn: Let's help others get the monkeys off there backs instead of feeding the monkey with a bag of peanuts. The monkey feeds off of our negative words and actions. Let us love one another through the power of the Holy Spirit and with the love that has been shed abroad in our hearts by Him. Amen!

Let us Remember: Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in high places.....

Fresh Milk

1 Peter 2:2  As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word that you may grow thereby.

Proverbs 22:28  Do not remove the ancient landmak. Which your fathers have set.

1 Peter 2:6 Therefore it is also contained in the scripture, "Behold, I lay in Zion a chief cornerstone, elect, precious, and he who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame."

Robin's heart: I sense very firmly within my spirit that the Lord is doing a shaking right now. I can imagine His mighty hand holding us upside down by our ankles, with everything in our pockets falling out and things coming loose. He is doing this work because He is removing those things in our lives that do not give Him glory and honor. Plus, for His plans to be fulfilled we must be readied through change. Whether it be wrong teachings, wrong attitudes, or wrong motives they are coming loose with the shaking. I have lots of personal experience in this area, so trust me on this one, it's best to just let those things go that we seem to unknowingly hold so tightly onto. Also, it's wise not to stoop down and pick them up and put those removed things back into our pockets once He sets us back down. If we do that, we will have to be turned back upside down and shaken again. I know this gives a vivid picture, but our Father loves us, and is working within us because we are His children. If we give the Lord permission to work in our lives, He will. We will not need to wonder if there is a problem between us and Him. He is well able to make His point crystal clear. He will communicate clearly with us in His way about those things on His priority list. One step at a time. When the expiration date has expired on a particular area of our lives that He wants changed, it's best to purpose in our hearts to just turn it loose. He will do the work within us after that. If we resist His will, it will be just like drinking spoiled milk. Unfortunately, we have all done that at least once in our lives. If memory serves me correctly this is a very unpleasant experience. Fresh milk is best. Yielding to His will refreshes and nourishes our entire being.

I feel very strongly that it is time for us all to hold onto the basic truths of the word of God, and to continue to yield to the work of the Holy Spirit in order to allow Him to clean out those things that do not belong in us. The Lord is building His house. In order to do that, the bulldozer must come through to remove the old weathered wood, and to bring in the strong and new. The foundation of Jesus Christ will not move, but those things not of God will. It's further explained by the below scripture.

Mark 2:22 and no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine bursts the wineskins, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins.

Goldilocks Choice

Luke 2:49  And Jesus said unto them, "How is it that you sought me? Wist ye not know that I must be about my Father's business?

Acts 17:28 For in Him we live and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are his offspring.

John 8:28&29 Then Jesus said unto them, when ye have lifted up the son of man, then ye shall know that I am he; and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father has taught me, i speak these things. And he that sent me is with me: the Father has not left me alone; for I do always those things that please Him.

John 5:19 Then Jesus answered and said to them, " Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son does in like manner.

Hebews 13:6 So that we may boldly say, the Lord is my Helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Robin's heart: Living and moving in and through the perfect will of our Father is my desire. Nothing more, nothing less. How about you? Just as our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ lived in a way that glorified his Father while he was here, so too we must do. However, it is important to make a mental note that this choice will confound those around you. As an example, Jesus's own parents, Mary and Joseph were on occasion distressed as Jesus behaved in line with His Father's business. Have you ever wondered why this was written? I believe it is because it gives evidence that each of our families will lack understanding. We must therefore purpose in our hearts to walk in love despite the surrounding accusations. It is also written that Jesus only said those things that He heard the Father say. Surprisingly, this brought much persecution throughout His day. How did they not know He was the Son sent from above? Their long awaited Messiah and Savior preached by the prophets of old. It is further written that Jesus only did those things that He saw the Father do, even though it provoked the Pharisee's and Sadducee's to execute. Profoundly, there is no coincidence that the killers names are "Fair I See" and "Sad You See." In conclusion, it is important for us to understand the difficulties our Lord Jesus went through because they will most likely happen to us too. Hopefully, not at the level that He endured, but we must be prepared in advance in case that they do.

So the moral of this message is that lots of circumstances will come up each day that need our attention. Making choices in line with God's will are important. If we walk in the Spirit we will hear what to do. As Goldilocks weighed her options, so too we must do. This decision making process must end with the "just right" option. Finally, it is important to note that Jesus's life teaches us what and how to do God's best. He did nothing more and He did nothing less than what His Father did expect. Let us closely listen to the Holy Spirt's leadings. Otherwise, we are unfortunately doing those things that only please men.

No Exceptions!

John 8:44  Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

1John 3:4 Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, sin is lawlessness.

Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will by no means pass away.

Luke 11:28 But Jesus said, "More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!."
Robin's heart: First thing this morning I had a thought that gave me a spiritual jolt! I received the understanding that the word of God is not only a weapon to protect us against Satan and his crew, but the word of God also applies to them! Let me see if I may explain. When we speak the Word of God to them, it is a power-packed reminder of what they are supposed to do! This may seem obvious to you, but this just dawned on me upon awakening today. The word of God is established in every realm, meaning in both the spiritual and natural. It is the universal law. It transends all dimensions. Therefore, it does not only apply to people, but to all creatures with no exceptions! As believers, we know that if we willingly follow God's word then we please Him, and things go well for us, especially in the end. We, as believers, also know what happens to those who choose to rebel against God's word. They will suffer eternal damnation and currently are controlled by Satan. As an example to this train of thought is the Law of Sowing and Reaping. Whether you choose to believe it or not. It is so! This wonderful law reveals that God's faithful people and faithful angels will be rewarded. How cool is it to know that the angels that God sends to watch over us will be rewarded! I love that idea because I can guarantee my guardian angels have worked overtime helping me! So to continue with my main idea, Satan deliberately chooses to disobey God's word, and now there is no truth in him. Now he continues to sin against God, and does everything possible to cause others to follow his way. He is even so prideful that he even takes and twists the Word of God in order to bring others into his submission. Can you imagine the price he will pay? What a sad condition He remains in! I'm so glad that Jesus Christ made a way for us to be forgiven and cleansed of our sin!

Revelation 5:11-14 And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing. and every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.

Peace Master Part 2

So I believe the Holy Spirit wants to give us further instruction as to how to make Jesus Christ "Prince of Peace," the Lord over every area of our lives by having us meditate on the following scriptures.

Philiplians 4:6&7  Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

1 Peter 5:6&7 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

Peace Master

One of the titles given to Messiah is ‘Prince of Peace.’ In Hebrew, it’s ‘Sar Shalom.’ ‘Sar’ means ‘prince,’ but it also means ‘ruler,’ or ‘master.’ ‘Shalom’ means ‘peace,’ but it can also mean ‘wholeness,’ ‘wellness,’ ‘fullness’, ‘prosperity,’ ‘goodness,’ ‘well-being,’ and ‘completion.’ So Prince of Peace also means prince of wholeness, well-being, and completion. He’s not only the prince of Shalom, He’s the Ruler and Master over Shalom. There are many believers who don’t really walk in much peace. The answer is found in the ‘Sar Shalom.’ If you want to know the peace of Messiah and the true Shalom of God, then you have to make Him Lord over every area of your life, especially that certain area He’s not really Lord of. When you make Him the Sar; the master over that area of your life, that area of your life will start to have Shalom. If you really want peace, wholeness, wellness, prosperity, goodness, well-being, and completeness, then make Him the Sar, the Lord and Master of every area of your life. Romans 16:20 And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

Perfected or Comfortable?

Ok, so to anyone who witnessed my stumble and step out of love, please forgive me. I'm a work in progress, and unfortunately, I will probably do it again. Thank God for His mercy. I have dusted myself off with the love of the Holy Spirit, and I'm willing and obedient to move forward with my Lord. with much love in Him, robin b

James 1:1-5 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have it's perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

Robin's heart: Hmmm...count it all joy?.....the testing of our faith produces patience. Have you ever wondered about how we are supposed to count it all joy when life's unexpected difficulties arrive and challenge our faith in God's ability? Well I have!

I'm so glad that the above scripture doesn't say that passing tests produces patience, but it says the testing of our faith produces patience. Sometimes my passing rate isn't 100%. I'm probably a "C+" student overall! God must of known! I'm also glad that the scripture doesn't say that we are supposed to be happy about or happy through the trial. Pain never causes joy to rise up!

Here's what I see: Patience is produced when our faith is tested. It also seems that Patience is the power force that makes us perfect and complete lacking nothing because it does a perfect work.

So therefore, if Patience comes when our Faith in the Lord is tested, we should be saying, "please bring on the lemons!," so that we can be perfected!....So here is the question. Do we truly want God to perfect us, or do we prefer being comfortable? This world has taught us that being comfortable is a sign of success. Religion has also taught us that if you're a good Christian then God will make living here a pleasant experience. This religious idea is only a half truth, but the full truth is that in this world we will have tribulation, but we are to be of good cheer because Jesus has overcome, and if we trust in Him, He will bring us through every adversity we encounter with the added bonus of bringing spiritual growth. God's powerful Fruit is produced within us!

So the lesson here is this: The next time we are uncomfortable, whether physically, emotionally, or mentally we need to stop for a second and thank God (we do not have to smile as we do this) because He is working His plan in our lives and developing us into a perfect and complete lacking nothing child of the King! That is how we can count it all joy! I don't know about you, but I have several ongoing challenges in my life....soooo 1,2,3 Joy!

P.S. Making sure we do our best to continually stay in God's perfect will is also another important ingredient in managing trials because if we are outside of His will, our enemy is given free access to steal, to kill, and to destroy.....Submit to God, resist the devil, and he will flee! Amen!

John 15:5 I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him bears much fruit; for without me you can do nothing.

Romans 4:20-22 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strong in faith giving glory to God; and being fully persuaded, that which He has promised, He is able to perform.

Eph 4:13 til we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ..

RePost from HolySpiritWind

Word of the Lord to Jeff Byerly:

A Sad Picture of a Typical “American Christian”

Recieved 1-18 through 1-20-18

The Lord spoke this to me through the Holy Spirit:

“The less a man thinks he knows for certain and the less he thinks he has figured out,  the more that I can reveal about to him about Myself and about things to come. It is of pride to think that you know it all, oh haughty man. I have made man a little lower than the angels until the time of the revealing of My children. No man will ever fully know My mind, you will eternally learn of Me and My ways. Those who think that they have arrived or have obtained great wisdom and knowledge, shall be shown just how little they actually do know. Men shall be humbled out of My mercy, though most will not understand that it is out of My great mercy. All men shall soon see that I AM who I say I AM. I AM the Lamb of God who takes any the sin of the world but I return as the Lion of the tribe of Judah who shall exact His fierce judgement and wrath upon the proud sinners, though it is My will that all men would be saved by My blood.

The truth is most men have never taken the time to ever seek me and know Me and they know not my ways at all. Millions of men who call themselves by My name never think of Me throughout their week but make sure they are seen of men in a religious mausoleum that they call a “church” every Saturday or Sunday. The day matters not, what matters is they  have never surrendered their heart and never taken time to know Me. Though I have been within reach of them their entire lives. They have spoken my name in pre-written prayers and in hymns and songs that meant nothing to them. They shall be judged the harshest.”

Then the Lord showed me a skinny, bitter, bruised, battered, bloody, broken and dirty Man who was laying face down. (The mental picture that I had was much worse than the picture below but the expression on his face fits.)

The Lord let me know that this man had called himself a “Christian” and he went to a church that taught him wrong but he never asked the Lord himself if these things were right, in fact he never even prayed. He learned about giving to get physical earthly prosperity, repeating the “sinners prayer”,”Once saved always saved”and the “Pre-Tribulation Rapture”.  He also believed that he and pretty much  everyone he knew were “Christians” because of the country they lived in, America. He did not believe that there was anything wrong with America, in fact he believed that God was going to make America great again because of the president that they “picked”. The Lord had allowed this man to experience severe pain, fear, distress, hunger and lack of everything that he was used to in his modern lifestyle, yet he was not humbled in his heart. He had hardened his heart and stiffened his neck and he even blamed God for what had happened to him.

Then I saw the Lord Jesus standing behind him calling out to him yet this man did not seem to hear him. I saw Jesus stand right in front of him yet the man did not even acknowledge Him. This man had been deafened and blinded by the things of this world and false teaching in his church. He could not be be awakened because of the great deception he had allowed in his own life. I saw tears coming out of Jesus’ eyes He had done all that He could for this man.

Jesus spoke once again:

“My call goes out to to everyone who reads this message. Do not be deceived time is shorter than most men think. Humble yourselves in surrender before Me and repent of your sin and I will forgive you and give you new life that will never end. This must be done with your whole heart, I know when a man means what he says. I urge you to ready yourselves now! No man knows when the kick-off event shall take place and no man knows the day or the hour of My return.

Put the things of this world behind you and receive My Spirit!

I Love You!”

Where are You Pointed?

John 1:6-8
There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. This man came as a witness that all through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that light.

Robin's heart: Years ago when my children were very young,  I would take them grocery shopping with me, and I would eventually lead them to the candy aisle in order to allow them to choose a treat. You can learn alot about a person by observing them go through the process of  decision making. For example, my oldest son always wanted a snickers candy bar, so it was a no brainer for him. He knew exactly what he wanted and basically looked for that bar and grabbed it. He never even considered another option. Now, my daughter was a little different. She usually had a wider variety of options to choose from, but the time involved before making her final decision was appropriate for the task at hand. She would contemplate her choices based upon various reasons, but ultimately picked one bar with confidence. Now my third child was completely different. He would initially be overwhelmed by the numerous possible choices that were available. The amount of time he spent to choose his candy bar normally frustrated the process for everyone involved. He would take such a long time to decide that I would normally need to get involved to help speed up his final decision. Actually looking back, he was so precious to watch as he weighed all the possibilities.

My point in having shared that story is to help us examine our walk with God. There are countless people and ministries out there who sincerely believe that they hear from God, and feel the need to blog, make utube videos, or start some sort of ministry for the Lord. All of these people, myself included, need to be tested. We need to make sure that we are being led to follow Jesus Christ, grounded upon the word of God, and are not being led down a rabbit trail. I see many well meaning christians leading others to follow the money (which is being labeled "the wealth transfer"), to follow vain dreams, to follow false prophetic words, or to follow their puffed up imaginations. Many have nothing to do with the Holy Spirit who is the Spirit of Truth. If you are listening to anyone who is not pointing you to Jesus Christ, but is leading you in any other direction you need to stop now. There are evil spirits attached to these false spiritual occurances, and by listening to them you are opening a deadly demonic door into your life. Times are getting more dangerous and deceptive every day and they will increase. Plus, the more you hunger for truth, the harder the enemy hits to deceive. We must keep our eyes only on Jesus Christ, just like my oldest son did with the snickers candy bar. Jesus is the only option. If not, you are on a rabbit trail leading to destruction.

Thought for the Day: Dry and Thirsty Land

Psalm 63:1&2   O God, You are my God; early will I seek you; my soul thirsts for You; my flesh longs for You in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water. So I have looked for you in the sanctuary, to see Your power and Your glory.
Robin's heart: There is nothing that this world can offer me that can compare to how I feel when I sense the holy presence of the Lord. He refreshes my spirit, which then affects my entire being. Everything this world offers causes me to feel like I'm in a dry and parched place. I long to have fellowship with people who love the Lord as much as I do. Time at work feeds my mind. Meal time feeds my body. Unfortunately, time with worldly people dries up my spirit. Does anyone understand what I mean?

Beautifully Made

Wednesday 1/10/2018: The Lord is leading me to share a personal story in order to possibly help others who may have made my same mistake or to help prevent someone from making the same mistake I did. As an introduction, I would just like to say that I have diligently wholeheartedly been seeking the Lord for a little over 3 years now. Prior to that I was a wishy washy Christian going back and forth in my relationship with Him depending on the situation. With that being said, 5 1/2 years ago I did something I regret that I'm now able to reverse. In relation to the pressures of society, I thought I needed to change myself physically in order to be attractive. I therefore had "plastic surgery." I won't go into detail with specifics, but let's just say I felt I was getting droopy in a particular area (I'm 55 year old female now), and I felt the need to fix that.
However, when I came back to the Lord, I was filled with regret in relation to this superficial surgical body enhancement. I truly wanted to reverse what I had paid someone to do do to my body. The problem was I didn't think I would ever be in a financial position to afford it. Thank God I was wrong. It took a couple of years, but He has now provided the finances I need to have the reversal surgery. He arranged for me to get hired onto a really big oil and gas project in my area. Therefore, here I sit with my surgery two days away. Very anxious to get it done, so I can be my natual self again.

Another important point I would like to declare is that there is a "plastic surgery" epidemic in our society. We really need to stop the madness. I have done some research about these implants, and I can confidently say that if anyone you love has them or is considering augmentation surgery, do your best to convince them otherwise. Many women have problems because of them. Doctors will never admit the implants cause problems, but there are thousands of woman who say differently. Implants release toxins and cause all sorts of problems. I think I have a few of these symptoms, but I won't know for sure until I have the implants removed and then time passes for recovery. With that being said, I will write more after surgery.
Friday 1/12/2018. Surgery Evening: I'm free from those two poisonous plastic  bags! God is so wonderful. He arranged for me to be my Dr.'s first case of the day. This was wonderful because my time without food or water was minimized. If you have had surgery in the past you know how miserable it is waiting for your turn to come. Also, in the past I experienced extreme nausea and vomiting from anesthesia. Not this time. The anesthesiologist placed a scopalomine patch behind my ear which completely prevented nausea and vomiting. I'm so thankful. The entire facility staff were exceptionally caring and professional. Also, the friend that stayed with me was very kind and caring. Being single during times like these can make one feel really lonely, but this friend's personality brought much comfort. God knows just what we need, and He provides. On a comical note: this friend told me that after the nurse gave me the surgery IV medicine, that I became very relaxed and said "i think I'm gonna sing" which I did! Lol That is so funny because i only sing when I'm alone. Never in front of anyone! I have a terrible singing voice. I must have been hearing a melody in my heart from the Lord so I let it out! However, my friend couldn't remember what i was singing when he shared this story. Thank you Jesus. Lastly, my pain level is very minimal, so I am needing minimal pain medication. Praise God. I will write more soon. Oh one last note. The nurse taking care of me shared that she was currently considering getting breast implants, and I was able to share my experience. I pray my story dissuaded her from having this needless surgical procedure.

Monday 1/15/2018. So I have been resting the last couple of days since the surgery, and I'm following my Dr.'s orders. Had to get back to work today. Thank God I work mostly from home because I'm feeling really tired today. I did make it through my workday, but I have developed hoarsness and feel like i might have a slight fever. I'm praying that the Lord keeps me safe and healthy. Tomorrow is my post surgery appointment. Despite not feeling too well, I'm still very thankful that I had the implants removed. Thank you Father God for your great love and mercy over your children.

Tuesday 1/16/2018 Yesterday must have been hump day in regards to my recovery because I feel better today. I just returned from my post-op appointment with the Dr. and all went well. He removed the dressings and stitches and said he will see me in a month. All I can say now is thank you Jesus! I'm free from that heavy burden!! No more bondage, no more pain, I am free in Jesus name!

       POW!! Take that Satan!!!
Your plan backfired! I now love my droopy girls! and I will shout it from the rooftops to the entire world!

Robin's heart: I pray for each person reading my story to receive light from the Lord. He made each of us beautifully and uniquely. We are here to adore only Him and to bring Him glory by showing a lost world His love. We are not here to fight the process of aging, or to fix what we see as our physical imperfections. Our time here is not a competition. We should take care of our vessels because we belong to Him, but vanity causes us to cross that line. Love and accept the person God created. Give God all you are and the Master will mold you into a vessel of honor that will shine from the inside outward. Let not Satan condemn what God has made and planned from the beginning. Love yourself with genuine affection. Be that living sacrifice set apart for the Master's use. Let us purpose each day to place ourselves into our Savior's loving hands, and do those things that glorify Him.

Ecclesiastes 1:14 I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and indeed, all is vanity and grasping for the wind. Amen.

Dear Crossing

Jeremiah 29:11-14 For I know the thoughts I think towards you says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me, and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back from your captivity.....

1 Corinthians 14:33 For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.

Mark 4:18&19 Now these are the ones sown among thorns; they are the ones who hear the word, and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.

I would like to share an experience of a dear friend, which gives an example of how God speaks through our ordinary circumstances, and how we can miss what He is saying if we are not paying close attention. Also, it gives an example of how much he dearly loves each one of us.

This story begins with my friend going on a weekend hunting trip. In fact, it was the last weekend of deer hunting season. Up to that point in the season, he had harvested a couple of hogs and a doe but, he wanted to get a trophy buck. It's a hunter's thing. So after traveling to his camp, he unloaded his 4-wheeler and headed to the woods. He then climbed up the deer blind and positioned himself for reconnaissance. There he sat for two days in the cold weather as he patiently waited for his prize to arrive. As time passed the promise of capturing his trophy was looking bleak, when suddenly to his pleasant surprise, on the last day and morning of his weekend trip just before leaving the camp, he saw his prey. The gun went click, and down it went! Happy dance time! Yippee!! Got the buck before the season ended! Freezer will be full of meat! Thank you Jesus! Our prayers were answered!! But suddenly the victory dance ended...

My friend explained that as he was removing his deer from the woods he was painfully stabbed in his thumb by a very large thorn, and this large thorn appeared to have broken off and embedded in his skin. Boy was be bumbed! Due to the injury, it made hauling the deer back to camp quite appauling, but eventually he carried his deer to camp headquarters. Next was phase two so cleaning he would now do. Unfortunately, as he was in the process of hoisting his deer up in the air suddenly his lifter stopped functioning and it needed repair. Ah maaaaan! He then had to clean the deer on the dirty forest floor. Thank God he had a tarp kept in store. This made cleaning the deer quite a bit harder, but he improvised and overcame the disorder. The good news is that despite a bloody finger, and a broken lifter he successfully cleaned his deer, and packed it on ice for transport to his home freezer. Yippee!

But this story is not over yet! So my friend further explained that at some point in this adventure he started to replay what happened, and realized there was a problem with this deer in his possession. He started to think about his deer, and about how it actually appeared that the deer he thought he shot was not the deer that he brought back to camp and cleaned! He analyzed that the wounds on the deer were not consistant with the direction in which he shot the deer, and the size of the deer's rack seemed smaller than the deer that through his scope he had seen! He was pretty sure this deer currently in his possession was hit accidentally as he shot the trophy deer in his humble opinion! Friends we can't make this kinda stuff up!

So two days later he could stand the suspense no longer, and so he returned to his camp to search the woods to solve the mystery. He arrived late in the evening, but his plan was to initiate his search first thing in the morning. So that's what he did. He woke up at dawn and went back to the area where he thought the deer was hit and searched the area outside and in. He even had to go back into the pointy thorn bushes, but he was determined to search until his heart was content. After searching awhile, he came to the conclusion that he may have been mistaken, or possibly that the deer had run off to a undisclosed location. Oh the frustration! He had mixed emotions about the entire situation, but mostly he hoped that if he did shoot two deer that the second's end was not long and suffering filled. No hunter wants to injure an animal, and leave it to die in abandon. Hunters hunt as a means of provision. This particular person is very kind and caring, so the possibility of leaving an injured deer caused much evaluation.

So here is what I think God is saying through this ordeal. I will do my best to keep my explanation short based on what I believe the Lord is speaking.

First, the Lord was showing my dear friend how much he loves him. He gave him the deer in order to show how He provides, and answers prayer. God gives us what He knows we need, and not what we think we need. My friend is still very much saturated with the world's way of thinking, but God can change that with one heartfelt decision. The good news is that I believe my friend is willing to learn. I also believe God was showing him that what he thinks will bring happiness may not be true. The smaller deer provided the same sense of joy as the trophy deer could. Next I believe God was saying that the "thorns" of life are effecting him and choking the word out of his heart. (read Mark 4) Once he decides to turn his focus more towards God and starts spending time in the word, these distractions will become less attractive and his life will evolve. Then beautiful fruit will be produced from the word sown in his soul. Interestingly, just as the season of deer hunting was ending, I believe my friend is moving into a new season. God will be speaking to his heart, and leading him in a new direction. He just needs to decide if he wants to listen or to go back and look for that "lost deer." I pray this helps my friend see that God is speaking to him through this experience, and he is greatly loved and cared for without hesitation. I know from personal experience that resisting God when He calls is futile and brings much frustration. It's best to surrender now and do what He wills. Alleluia! So that all my friends is the end to this special story.  Let us all keep an open eye to the goodness of God in our lives. He has much to say, and speaks in various amazing ways.

One final thought: If you think that all this that happened to my friend is meaningless, and that it was all just a big coincidence, then you don't yet know how truly big our God is. He is very clever and orchestrates our lives beyond what we can imagine, and if we are paying attention He teaches frequent lessons. As a brother recently stated, there are no such things as coincidences. Amen!

Jesus is Healer

The next thing I knew, I was standing in a place I had never been before. I couldn’t see anything. It was just grey all around me. I started to walk around until finally I heard a voice. It was asking for people’s names. I couldn’t see so I followed the man’s voice. Finally, I found a man standing at a podium. He was looking down at a book and asked me for my name. So I told him. In front of me was a old broken down gate. It was rusty and falling apart. The man at the podium told me OK you may enter. I walked up to the gate but all I saw was grey. So I walked back to the man and said, sir? There’s nothing on the other side. He told me to turn back around and my heart stopped. It took my breath away. I saw a very tall wall that looked like it was made out of Jasper. There was 12 gates and there was an angel standing at each gate. There was a sign above that said God’s Dwelling Place on it. The twelve gates had the twelve tribes of Israel written above them: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Issachar, Judah, Naphtali, Dan, Zebulun, Gad, Benjamin, Joseph and Asher. All 12 gates were made of the most beautiful pearls I’ve ever seen. The angel at the gate I was standing at grabbed my hand and said, please come in, there’s so much to see.

So I walked through those gates and as I did, I felt a warmth come over me and not just that but also a peace like I have never experienced in my life. Everything was so beautiful. The colors seemed to be alive. I looked down at my feet, the streets were made of a transparent gold. The walls around heaven were covered in the most beautiful stones. There was turquoise, sapphire, emerald, onyx and many others. Everything and everyone was at peace. I even seen a wolf and a lamb eating together. There was no sun and no moon. You didn’t need light because it shined so brightly from God. There was a crystal clear river that flowed right down the middle of the city. I had never seen anything so beautiful. I leaned down to take a drink. The water tasted so sweet and refreshing. There was a tree of life on each side of this river and these trees had 12 different kinds of fruit. I picked an apple and another one grew back. It was like nothing I had ever tasted before. I could not even begin to describe how amazing it tasted. There were the most beautiful homes I had ever seen built all over heaven and vineyards. Everyone I saw looked so happy and at peace. There were none sick or crying or angry. I began to hear singing. It sounded so beautiful. I could hear them singing Holy, holy, holy. But as I got closer, I saw something so amazing that I froze. I couldn’t move. I couldn’t take my eye off of them. I saw the Lord on his mercy seat. I could not see his face, there was light all around him. The most beautiful light with dancing colors sparkling out from it. But I knew it was him. I saw angels seated all around him, proclaiming God’s name, singing his praises. These angels were not like anyone else. They had several eyes and six wings. They never slept, never rested. All they did was sit at God’s feet and worship him. I turned around to see behind me and there were thousands of angels singing to God. And it was like they were all singing in their own language but it was so beautiful together. It flowed. You almost couldn’t tell that they were singing in their own languages. It was so beautiful I fell to my knees and began to cry. These were not sad tears though.
Then I heard someone calling my name. So I followed the sound of his voice. I saw Jesus. I could not see his face either, it was just a beautiful light but I saw his hands reaching out to me. I saw the scars on his wrists. He said My Child, Stormie (he called me by name), he said please take my hand. I have something to show you. So I took his hand. We walked through Heaven together. He allowed me to see people that I loved so much that has passed away. I saw my grandmother who raised me until she passed. I saw my best friend Natalie and my baby brother Dakota. I saw my daddy and my close friend John. I saw my best friend Jodi who was murdered. After seeing Jodi, he asked me, have you forgiven him? I knew what he was talking about but I felt ashamed and acted like I didn’t. He said have you forgiven the man who murdered you’re best friend? I looked down at the ground and quietly said, no I haven’t. Then he asked me, have you forgiven Then he asked me, have you forgiven your grandfather who abused you? And again I quietly said no, I haven’t then h told me, look at her. I looked at Jodi as she was dancing around heaven. Even on earth she was an amazing dancer. It was her passion. Jesus said, does it seem like she’s in pain? Does it look like she’s hurting? And I said no not at all. And Jesus asked me, then why are you still hurting yourself? He said by not forgiving this man, you’re hurting yourself. You’re closing the door to me. If you don’t open the door and give me what’s inside, then I can’t help you. I started crying and I told him but he took my best friend. He took her life away from her. Jesus wrapped his arms around me and said every man has free will. I couldn’t go against what he was going to do. But I can bring good out of the situation. He said she is happy and free now, she doesn’t have to face the horrors of what he did to her. And now there’s a organization in her honor helping other victims. He can’t hurt her anymore. He said you must stop letting him hurt you. I sat for a minute and just watched Jodi dance. She looked so beautiful. So happy. I turned to Jesus and said, I forgive him. The instant I said that, I felt something come over me that made me feel a hundred pounds lighter. It was like I could feel a release of something. Then Jesus grabbed my hand and said come with me. We walked around heaven until we came to an older man. He was fishing. Jesus said, do you see this man? That’s Frank. I asked Jesus who he was and he said Frank is you’re great grandfather. I had never met him before. Jesus told me Frank was not always a good man. Then all of a sudden it was like I was watching A movie in thin air. I saw this man Frank beating my grandfather. He was punching him and kicking him and choking him. My grandfather kept screaming I’m sorry. I’m sorry. Jesus told me, this was all he ever knew. He didn’t know what it was liked to be loved. He didn’t know what it was like to be treated good. All he knew was how to be beaten. So when he had a family, he did the only thing he knew to do. I felt horrible for my grandfather but at the same time I still felt angry. It was like Jesus knew what I was thinking. He said, it’s okay to be angry. Forgiving him doesn’t mean it’s okay. Forgiveness is a way of freeing yourself from all of the pain and suffering you have endured. I was crying so much. Jesus told me, inside of him, your grandfather loved you. You had a few good years together. But after your grandmother, father and brother died, your grandfather was in so much pain that he didn’t know what else to do but to drink and to hurt people. He did t know what else to do except to distract himself with the cult. Then Jesus took my arms and pulled up my sleeves. He said, do you see all those scars? I shook my head. He said, how is it you can’t forgive those who have hurt you, but you find it okay to hurt yourself? I couldnt stop crying. Jesus said let me help you to forgive. Not only your grandfather but yourself too. He told me give me those burdens to carry for you. He said if you can allow me to heal those hurts and to help you let go and forgive, that is only the beginning of what I will do for you. I knew exactly what he meant. I fell to the ground crying my eyes out and Jesus wrapped his arms around me and I just started saying over and over I forgive you I forgive you. I forgive you. Meaning both my grandpa and myself. After doing that Jesus picked me up off the ground and grabbed my arms again and rolled my sleeves back up. My scars were gone. All of them. And he said this is only the beginning. Then he grabbed my hand and we walked back to the gates where I entered heaven. Jesus said, do you believe that I love you? And I said yes. I do. And he said do you believe that I want to help you? And I said yes Jesus. Then he said do you believe that I can heal you? And I said yes. I believe that you can. And he said then your faith has made you well. When he said this I felt that warmth come over me and I felt like fire was burning inside of me. But it didn’t hurt. Not at all. It was like it was burning out all of the bad things.
Then Jesus came up to me and laid his hand on my shoulder and said my daughter, it’s time for you to go home. He said now is not your time. He said that he brought me here to show me that he loved me, and that he hasn’t left me. He said he brought me here so that he could help me to forgive because that unforgivness was a blockage that needed to be ridden of. He said he brought me here to let me know that there is hope and that this is not my time. He told me he had things that needed to be done and that only I could do them. He told me to have faith because this is not the end. He told me to keep my eyes focused on him and him only and that he will guide and direct me. And he told me that no matter what I’m going thru, don’t let it live inside of me. He told me to release it to him so that he can remove it from my life. Then Jesus gave me a hug and told me go home my child. Rest. Trust in me and watch me work in your life. Then he said this is only the beginning. After that I woke up and I ran to my nurse and said I have to tell you about this dream and I told her and she started crying. My whole body feels different. I’m not in pain, I’m not having problems breathing, my nurse took my vitals and they were all normal. I just started crying my eyes out and thanking God over and over. I cannot even begin to describe what I am feeling right now.
But whatever God is going to do in my life, I am ready!”

Full Gospel God: Part II

Romans 12:2 and do not be conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and power, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not only hearers, deceiving your own selves.

Robin's heart: So the question is, how do we position ourselves so that we can know God? Well let's look at it from a natural standpoint. How do we learn about anything or any person? We learn by placing our focus directly on the person or topic. We give it our time, undivided attention, and effort. Learning about God is no different. Sitting on a pew listening to a weekly message, or driving in your car listening to teaching tapes about Him will not help you know Him. These activities may be used by the Holy Spirit as teaching tools, but we receive revelation of who God is by spending quality quiet time with Him. Essentially, if you truly want to know God, He will reveal Himself to you, little by little as you show yourself faithful. It is a One to one relationship. Him Teacher. We student.

Top priority in knowing Him is reading and meditating on His word. It is our living schoolbook. Jesus is the Word of God. He became flesh and dwelled among us. Spending much time in the word is an absolute requirement, or you will become a flaky Christian. The word of God is our sure foundation. Next, we need to allow the Holy Spirit to transform our thinking. He renews our minds, and cleans away the debris from this fallen world as we yield to Him. He is so wonderful. Pray and talk to God throughout your day. He loves that! Another very important part of the learning process is that we must be doers of the word and not hearers only. We "do the word" by daily making choices in line with God's will which is clearly given in His word. Plus, the Holy Spirit is there to give friendly reminders to help us obey. Some days I do better than others. I need a Savior. Thank you Jesus!

Lastly, it is important to remember that we have an enemy who goes to great lengths to prevent us from knowing the One True God. He is a master of disguise, and uses the powerful weapon of disenchantment to distort our perspective of God . He is very good at his job, and if you doubt that then you are already deceived.

Praise you Jesus! King of kings and Lord of lords!!

Full Gospel God: Part 1

Robin note: I think this will be a two part lesson. Second part to follow in a couple of days....

Matthew 16:15&16  Jesus asked His disciples, " who do you say that I am?" then Simon Peter answered and said "you are the Christ, the Son of the Living God."

1John 1:5  This is the message that we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.

Robin's heart: How about we get real today? I think it is an excellent idea! Let's talk about how our understanding of God is limited, and about what we can do to know Him better.

Without realizing it, our life experiences, and teachings from other people have shaped our understanding of what we think God's personality is like. Based upon this information we have possibly subconsciously created a false God within our minds. If we grew up lacking love, we may make God into an all loving Being. If we have been hurt and are damaged, we may have created God into a God of Judgment in order to punish the abusers. Basically what I'm attempting to explain here is that our understanding of God is incomplete and/or distorted. There is always more to learn about Him, and we need to make sure that what we believe about Him is true.  I have purposed in my heart to seek the only true God, and I pray the same for you.

Let us be willing to open the box that limits our viewpoint, and allow God to reveal Himself to us in a greater measure, so that we can get the "false god" out of our tiny mentalities.  That way we can avoid having any preconceived notions corrupting the truth about our Father God, Jesus Christ, and His Holy Spirit.

Luke 10:22  Jesus said, all things have been delivered to me by My Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the Father is except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.

Stubborn as a Mule

Well I only thought I was taking a break!

Luke 11:23  He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters.

2 Corinthians 4:3&4  But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing whose mind the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.

Robin's heart: When most of us come to God it is because we have finally reached a place in life where we understand that we can not survive successfully on our own. Some people have been blessed by God to surrender to Him early in their lives, but that is not my story. Actually, God called me many years before I finally gave up and surrendered to Him. The constant conviction felt when I behaved in a way that was contrary to His plan was unbearable. When God has a plan for you, He is relentless. I'm so thankful that He never gave up on me. Nevertheless, my past has proven that I was very strong willed. I liked being independent. I liked to do things my way. These qualities continue to haunt me even today in my service to the Lord, so sometimes I struggle to do things God's way. The good news is that through quality time with God, I have learned that having my needs met can only come through a relationship with my loving Savior and Father. I now know that only He can give me the things I need. I need love and light. I need peace and joy. I need Jesus Christ. I need to fellowship with My Father God. I am learning that the more I think I know about God, the less I truly know. Learning the truth about God's goodness makes surrendering to Him so much easier.

So my point here is that if God was able to bring me to a place of surrender, He is able to reach your loved one's who seem to be in complete rebellion against God too. Let God take them through His process in His way in His timing. Never give up on anyone you love, just be still and pray. They are not too far gone to where God Almighty can not reach them. His arms are not too short! Let Jesus Christ be exalted by trusting Him today! Amen
