Jesus Knows Our Works

Revelation 2:2 I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you can not bear those who are evil. And have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars..

Revelation 2:9  I know your works, tribulation, and poverty (but you are rich); and I know the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan..

Revelation 2:13 I know your works, and where you dwell, where Satan's throne is and you hold fast to My name, and did not deny My faith even in the days in which Antipas was My faithful martyr, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells..

Revelation 2:20 I know your works, love, service, faith, and your patience; and as for your works, the last are more than the first..

Revelation 3:1  ....I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead.

Revelation 3:12. I know your works. See I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept my word, and have not denied My name..

Revelation 3:15  I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot..

Robin's heart: Thank you for taking this "works" journey with me. I hope it creates a greater desire within you to want to serve our Savior. So just as these above scriptures say, Jesus knows our works. This shows that He is among us. He is intimately involved in our lives. He wants us to succeed, and He takes the time needed to correct us when we are off track. I pray as this year draws to a close that we each purpose within our hearts to draw closer to Him, and that we give up the things that hinder us from deeply knowing Him. Nothing this world offers can come close to the fulfillment that a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ brings. 2018 is the New Year, and begins in just hours. Let's live this new year in such a way that brings Lord Jesus glory and honor. That is my goal. Alleluia. Have a Happy & Healthy New Year!🚀
with much love in Him, robin b

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him..

Robin note: During the month of January, I will be taking a short break from posting. I want and need to spend more time listening for the Holy Spirit's direction, correction, and instruction through increased time in my bible and with less internet time. Hope you come back in February...💜

Works Are Recorded

Malachi 3:16  Then those who feared the Lord spoke to one another, and the Lord listened and heard them, so a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who fear the Lord and who meditate on His name.

Revelation 20:12  And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.

Robin's heart: When we choose to put Jesus Christ as first place in our lives it's like we start living inside a protective bubble. Inside this bubble is a place of peace, joy, and right standing in the Lord. Unfortunately, many opportunities come along to try and burst our bubbles, but we need to hold our ground and stay in Him. In this heavenly bubble is also a place of spiritual growth. I have had several classroom dreams to teach me this idea. By spending time in God's word and by prayer the Holy Spirit is able to teach us important truths about the Kingdom of Heaven.

At some point, I was amazed to learn that there are books in heaven with our names in and maybe on them. Can you picture this massive library with a book or a section of books with your name on them? What do you think is written in those books? I know for me I want only good works recorded. Thank God for His mercy because He says if we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. It should therefore follow that all negatives written in these books are immediately erased as we repent wholeheartedly. Praise God! My prayer is that we make every effort to seek God in order to know exactly what we should be doing each day so that what is recorded in the books is pleasing to our Father.

In closing, I hope that on that day when I finally meet Jesus I get to see Him surrounded with numerous books with my name on them filled with my love stories towards Him. I hope He is filled with laughter as He reviews my life within His books. I pray you feel the same desire. Can you imagine facing Him and finding that your name is not written in the Book of Life? Can you imagine Him holding a book the size of a restaurant menu in regards to your good works? I believe it's crucial for us to understand that our works are being recorded, and one day the Lord Himself will open those books and we will be judged accordingly. I'm so thankful that we have an opportunity to learn this truth so we can prepare for that eternal moment on God's time clock.

Tomorrow will be the last post in relation to this "Works" series and it is titled "Jesus Knows Our Works."

Work Rewards

Colossians 3:22-23  And whatever you do, do it heartily , as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance for you serve the Lord Christ.

Matthew 16:27  For the Son of Man will come in the glory of the Father with His angels, and then he will reward each according to his works.

1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

2 Timothy 4:7-8 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that day-and not only to me, but also to all who have loved his appearing.

Robin's heart: The scriptures above pretty much say it all for this post. As I was thinking about them, I decided to look up the definition of rewards and the word is defined as something given in recognition for one's service or efforts. The real question is, What would you consider the ultimate reward?

I was looking at that picture posted above, and I was thinking that it truly depicts Jesus's life. Jesus went about doing good, but he was mocked, beaten, hated, afflicted, oppressed, persecuted, insulted, tortured, and eventually crucified. You know guys, He allowed that to happen because He was following the master plan of our heavenly Father. I can only imagine how Father God felt as He watched Jesus suffer. I'm sure He felt just like we do sometimes. We are created in His image and likeness.

The good news now is that Jesus has returned to His Godly position and is seated with His Father, and rules and reigns from on high. He is still working on our behalf as mediator and advocate. He intercedes for us. He truly cares about everyone just as He did when He was walking the earth as a man empowered by the Holy Spirit. Soon, I believe very soon, He will put the last enemy under His feet. This last enemy that will be destroyed is death. Just think about it for a minute. There will be no more suffering and no more tears. How wonderful that will be. The only thing better than that thought is that we will get to see Jesus, and to behold His beauty. To me, that will be the ultimate reward. To me, nothing else that God offers can compare to it. There is nothing I want more, then to lay my eyes on Jesus, and to bow before My Father and thank Him, face to face.

Why We Work

1 Corinthians 3:12-14  Now if anyone builds on the foundation of Jesus Christ with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each one's work will become clear; for the day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one's work, of what sort it is. If anyone's work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. If anyone's work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.

2 Timothy 2:20&21  But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor. Therefore if anyone cleanses himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good

God has a specially designed plan for each of us to follow, and we are here to fulfull that plan. Without realizing it, we are being shaped to accomplish God's goal. God uses all the circumstances and people in our lives as his molding tools. That's why his word says, He works all things together for good. For me, I found that in the beginning the Holy Spirit led me through a cleansing process. I had to basically go through my entire life, and forgive every person who hurt me. Next, I had to take a Holy Ghost journey through my life to address the sins I had commited and had to repent of them. Forgiveness of self has been my greatest challenge. As I continued pass the initiation process, I found He would give me little assignments and tests. As we are obedient to Him, He gives promotions based on our faithfulness. A couple of years ago I had a mental snapshot of myself being handed a white sweater. As I pondered it's meaning, I believe the Lord was showing me that He was giving me a promotion. I was very happy to know that I had finally passed enough tests to move forward. Growth and development are part of God's purpose as we "work."

In our service to Him, He will use the talent's and abilities He has placed within us since before we were born. He would never ask us to do something that He did not equip us to do successfully. It may take us a few attempts before we get each step right, but this is not a surprise to our Creator. He is so patient and longsuffering towards us. My goal is to be known by God as one of His vessels of honor. I want Him to look down from His throne, and see me about His business.

It is also important to mention that we need to check our motives when serving the Lord. We must be careful to keep a pure heart as we grow in Him. Never allow self to get involved in God's plan. If we do, the Holy Spirit will help us identify our weaknesses, and through His grace change us into the likeness of Christ. This is painful, but it is part of God's process.

In closing, LOVE for our Savior and fellow man should be our only motivation in serving. Our goal should always be to give our Father glory, honor, and praise. He alone is worthy. Oh how I love Him. His way works.

1 Samuel 16:11  But the Lord said to Samuel, "Do not look at his appearance or his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart."

What Works?: Ministry of Reconciliation

2 Corinthians 5:18-20 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God.

Ephesians 2:10  For we are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

Matthew 5:16  Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father in heaven.

To continue our study, let's talk about priorities. The most import "work" we can do is to love people. That is our biggest challenge. We all have people in our lives that make it very difficult for us to love them, but we are expected to be lights in the darkness. Therefore, we need to ask the Holy Spirit to help us love. One of the best ways I have found to love the unloveables is to pray for them. It seems like the offense they may cause or negative feelings these people bring just drift away like a cloud in the presence of prayer.

When I was spending quiet time with the Lord this morning, I was asking Him about this post, and He gave me an idea. It is an analogy to describe how the Kingdom of God operates to help us understand. When Jesus Christ completed His earthly assignment, God opened a bank account for every person. He then deposited the heavenly currency that we need in order to be reconciled to Him. It is called the Bank of Salvation. Thieves can never rob this bank my friends! It's always open, and you can never overdraw! When we surrender our lives to Father God and receive Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior we make our first withdrawal from this account. As we grow in faith, we learn how to make more withdrawals from God's heavenly bank account. He supplies all our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Phil 4:19.

As heavens ambassadors, we are commissioned by God as His representatives to teach and show others how to become reconciled to Him, so they too can make withdrawals from their own personal bank accounts. Just think about all the bank accounts that are just sitting there. Waiting to be used. Full of love, peace, strength, wisdom, protection, healing, deliverance, prosperity, joy, righteousness, and every spiritual substance we could possible need to become overcomers. God is so wonderful. He set everything up for us. All we have to do is to learn to listen to what the Holy Spirit is speaking to our hearts, and surrender to His will. He even teaches us how to hear Him!

Lastly, allow God to use you in His way in His timing. The Holy Spirit says, "Doing God's works is something we do with Him, it's not something we do for Him!" That is what works! Amen! Be blessed today!

Proverbs 2:8  For he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones.

"Works" Defined: Will You Drink Your Cup?

Matthew 26:42  Again, a second time, He went away and prayed, saying, "O My Father, if this cup can not pass away from Me unless I drink it, your will be done."

John 18:11  So Jesus said to Peter, "Put your sword into the sheath. Shall I not drink the cup which My Father has given Me?

John 19:30  So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, "It is finished!" And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.

And then!

Colossians 2:13-15 And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of the flesh, He made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them triumphing over them in it.
This series begins with our perfect example "Jesus Christ," teaching us by example, what our Father expects from us.  In other words, Jesus the Son of God, came to "do the will" or "drink the cup" or "do the works" or "fulfill the purpose" of His Father. Through much trial and tribulation, He completed His purpose. He destroyed the works of the devil and made a way for us to live eternally with Our Father and Himself. We too are here to do the will of our Father.

Scriptures take us through the beginning of Jesus's ministry on earth until the time of His death on the cross. We see that through the power of His Holy Spirit Jesus completed His race here. We also see that the last moments of Jesus's life show us how our own finish lines should be on earth. He fullfilled His purpose willingly and in reverance to His Father as He bowed His head and breathed His last breath. Now, Jesus is seated at the right hand of our Father in glory. Oh thank you Jesus!

Jesus's ministry clearly shows us that following the plan of God will be difficult and even brutal at times, but it will bring great rewards. As we walk by faith step by step doing His perfect will, His power brings His plan to pass through us.

Lesson here: God has a plan and purpose for each of our lives. Everyone has their part to play in God's kingdom, and every "work" is relevant even if it seems small in our own eyes. It is vitally important for us to seek Him diligently to hear and to follow the plan. In this series "works" is not defined as busy work or jobs we do for God. They are things we do according to His direction by His Spirit. Most importantly, we don't want to find out that the "works" we did while here were not God's plan for us. How sad would that be? There is nothing the Father wants more for us than to "drink the cup" that He has set before us. Our time here is very short in the scheme of things, and what we do while here determines what we will do for eternity. We get no second chances to get it right brethren.

2 Corinthians 5:15  and  Christ died for us, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again

Assignment: "Works"

Hi all,

I'm stepping out in faith again stretching a little further. I'm being led by the Holy Spirit to share what He is showing me about "works". I was raised Catholic, so that was ground zero for me. We were basically taught that you can earn your way to heaven by being a good person. Plus, if you were a semi-bad person you could go to purgatory and pay your sin bill there. Fortunately, I have since learned that there is not one good person among us, which therefore means none of us can get to heaven on our own merit. We are ultimately all headed straight to hell without a Savior. Thank God that Jesus Christ my Savior accepted that assignment. We now all have an opportunity to repent of our sins, and to be made right with God through the finished work of Jesus Christ. What I hope to accomplish with this series is to briefly explain "works". What does God expect from us once we decide to start walking with Him? What exactly does scripture say about "works?" So with all that being said, for the next few days I will be posting a series on "works." I believe it to be simple truth from the Holy Spirit, and hopefully helpful. I pray you don't take my word for it, but check with Him as we go on this short journey together.

Scripture references:

Acts 3:19. Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.

Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.....

2Timothy 2:15  Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Thought For the Day: Praise Him!

Revelation 5:13  And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying: Blessing and honor and glory and power be to Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, forever and ever!

Psalm 150

Praise the Lord!
Praise God in His sanctuary; Praise Him in His mighty firmament!
Praise Him for His mighty acts; Praise Him according to His excellent greatness! Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet; Praise Him with the lute and harp! Praise Him with the timbrel and dance; Praise Him with the stringed instruments and flutes!
Praise Him with loud cymbals; Praise Him with clashing cymbals!
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!
Praise the Lord!

Robin's heart: I find one of the quickest ways to leave this natural realm and to enter into the spiritual realm is through true praise and worship from your heart, and soul. One of my favorite music CD's to listen to is from 1992 by Ron Kenoly called Lift Him Up located at (this blog doesnt allow us to click on the link and go straight to the utube channel, but if you are led of the Lord you can copy and paste it to listen). As we praise the Lord we welcome the presence of the Holy Spirit. Then His presence fills the room and darkness flees. We then can more easily hear His voice, and tell Him how grateful we are for His loving kindness and tender mercies over us. We are also simultaneously relieved of any current burdens. Our Lord is so wonderful. In His presence is fullness of joy! I'm so thankful He is listening!

Rubber Meets the Road

1 Timothy 1:17  Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.

1John3:8  He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.

Revelation 20:10  The devil, who deceives them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Revelation 20:15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

                                              Message received 12/23/2017  6:44a.m.

Hear ye! Hear ye! All peoples of the earth, know that our God reigns!
The battle continues to rage for the souls of men. Know that I alone who am holy and wise, enable you to stand against the enemy who hides. He wants nothing more than to steal, to kill, and destroy those who abide. He was a sinner from the beginning and when his time is finished he will bring many to the fiery pit with him. Be not one who falls prey to his deception. Sin may be fun for a season, but the time will come when payment is due. Therefore do not step outside of your covering. I implore you to stay within My Beloved Son that you may be protected, and kept by His blood. He has saved all those who will believe and receive his love. The saved are not only those who seem mighty and meek, but also the ones who are weak with little strength. All are welcome to come to My fountain and drink. Come and lay your burdens at My feet. Your Father will give you rest and teaches you how to proceed.

This is a wonderful message received today. It is a reminder of the simple Christian truth. It is also why our Savior came to the earth. It is why we celebrate His birth. He came to destroy the works of the devil. One day we will all face Jesus. Will our names be found written in His book of Life? Will we be found faithful to Him? He has most certainly paved the way. I pray that all our answers are a definite yes. Jesus paid the price for our sin, so let us surrender and follow only Him.

Thought For the Day: God of Hope

Scripture verse: Romans 15:13  Now may the God of Hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Robin's heart: From personal experience I know the holidays can be a difficult time for some of us. We may miss certain loved ones that are no longer present in our lives, or we may experience a higher level of loneliness because we long to have a partner to share our lives with. For me, this time of the year also brings a time of reflection. We think about what has been and what will be. If we are not careful we can fall into a trap of despair and discouragement. The good news is that if we shift our focus, God is our Hope! He is well able to fill us with peace and joy as we trust in Him through the power of His Holy Spirit. Never let the bumps in the journey called life cause you to pull over on the side of the road and stay there. Keep moving forward while looking at our Lord and Savior! He has good plans for us! Let's enjoy and be thankful for the people and blessings that we do have, and not focus on what's lacking!
Have a very Merry Christmas! with much love, robin b 💟

Thought For the Day: Tired Work Horse

Proverbs 10:22  The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and He addeth no sorrows with it.

Robin's heart: Most of us need a job in order to pay our bills. I've always been one with a strong work ethic. I'm one who will go the extra mile despite having to climb steep hills in order to get the job done. Being like this causes others to pile more responsibilities on me. I'm thinking I'm just another slave in Egypt. If we are feeling like the donkey in the picture at our jobs, I'm thinking we better re-evaluate who and what we are working for.....I believe we need to stop with the self effort and listen to the Lord in order to earn our pay. The Lord says that the kingdom of God is one of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. If we are filled with stress and anxiety at work then we are out of bounds. A time of setting limits is in order.

Thought for the Day: What Do You Want For Christmas?

1 John 5:14&15  Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

Revelation 2:17 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will give to him some of the hidden manna to eat. I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.

Robin's heart: This is that time of the year where we all have the opportunity to get lost in the world's flow of materialism. I do enjoy giving gifts to those I love, but my main focus stays on Jesus. If I could have anything in this world for Christmas, I would still choose more of Jesus. Father, I ask for more! Please give me hidden manna to eat that I may be filled to overflowing with your truths, that I may be a blessing to others. May you readers have a peaceful week ahead and a safe, blessed Christmas holiday. Know that you are highly favored and deeply loved by Our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ.

Thought for the Day: Fortified City

Nehemiah 4:16-18  So it was, from that time on, that half of my servants worked at construction, while the other half held the spears, the shield, the bows, and wore armor; and the leaders were behind all the house of Judah. Those who built on the wall, and those who carried burdens, loaded themselves so that with one hand they worked at construction, and with the other hand held a weapon. Every one of the builders had his sword girded at his side as he built. And the one who sounded the trumpet was beside me.

Robin's heart: When I finally surrendered to God's will for my life many years ago,  I was part of what is called the "faith movement." We were taught that faith can move mountains. I worked so hard to "have faith." Since that time I have learned that true faith only comes by spending quality time with God through his scriptures and prayer. There is no fast track in God's plan. Getting to truly know God takes desire, time, and effort. One step at a time, one stone at a time. Like building a wall. As time moves, we look back and see that the Lord has built a fortified city within us. We no longer struggle to trust Him, and it comes natural to "just believe." He is always there leading, instructing, encouraging, and building. We do our part, and He absolutely does His. Just as we trust the water to come out of the faucet when we turn it on, so to do we become dependent upon our Lord to walk with us each day. That is simple faith in God.

Jeremiah 1: part of verse 18

....For behold, I have made you this day a fortified city and an iron pillar....

Thought for the Day: Omnipresent in Truth

Scripture Verses:

Revelation 13:1  Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his horns ten crowns, and on his heads a blasphemous name.

Revelation 13:11 Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon.

Revelation 13:15 The second beast was granted power to give breath to the image of the first beast, that the image of the first beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the first beast to be killed. He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the first beast, or the number of his name. (Added first and second to help us understand which beast does what).

Robin's heart: We understand that only our God is everywhere at all times through His Holy Spirit. Satan can only be in one place at a time. He currently needs his army to give him updates on each person he targets. However, I was thinking about the current exponential expansion of computer technology and about how it is now evolving into what is being called AI. Could this system be how the second beast causes the image of the first beast to speak? Could this AI operate in a way that gives Satan/The Anti-Christ the ability to monitor everyone constantly and enable him to control mankind temporarily? Is this AI also related to the cryptocurrencies? Reports show people including christians seem to be going crazy to invest in this digital exchange. Seems like another get rich quick scheme to me. Seems just like the pyramid systems of the past which only benefited the people at the top. We know through scripture that eventually there will be a One World Government, a one world currency, and both will be controlled by One Leader. Is Artificial Intelligence part of this plan and is it now slowly and subtly taking over our lives? Are multitudes falling into the trap? I think much prayer and discernment is needed in this area my friends.

1 Thessalonians 5:22 Stay away from every kind of evil.

Thought for the Day: Who are these?

Scripture verse: Jude 1:12  These are spots in your love feasts, while they feast with you without fear, serving only themselves. They are clouds without water, carried by the winds, late autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, pulled up by the roots, raging waves of the sea, foaming up their own shame, wandering stars for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.

Proverbs 12:3 A man is not established by wickedness, but the root of the righteous cannot be moved.

Robin's heart: When I read the book of Jude I'm pretty sure that the Holy Spirit through Jude was not talking here only about mere human men. He is explaining that these evil entities who lack reverance for the One True God are among us and drift like clouds without water, meaning these have no truth in them and are tossed to and fro. These are twice dead which I believe means they are separated from Father God forever with no hope of salvation. These are wandering stars...spirit beings with no rest and have a reservation in the darkest of blackness. How awful this sounds. Thank you Lord Jesus for defeating and protecting us from these wicked ones, and one day these will no longer be free to deceive.

Thought for the Day: Steady as a Rock

Scripture verse:

Hebrews 13:8  Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Robin's heart: This is one of the first scriptures the Holy Spirit spoke to my heart during prayer when I was first saved many years ago, and it is a truth I hold on to still today. Everything around us is always changing. Our daily lives can be planned out to a certain extent, but unpredictable events sometimes take place suddenly. Isn't it wonderful to know God never changes? He is the Rock on which we stand.

Thought for the Day: Love Walkers

John 5:25  Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming and now is when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live.

Ephesians 2:4-6  But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus....

Robin's heart: Since I have been saved I have spoken to many people about eternity. I have done this through casual conversations in subtle ways. Hopefully being led by the Holy Spirit along the way. I see a few groups that people may fall into. Some are completely unaware of their sins, and see no need to repent. Still others are aware of their mistakes, and plan within themselves to do better next time. Then there are those who walk in condemnation because they are alive in Christ, but are still shackled by the enemy's lies and think they are failures at serving God. Lastly, there is the group who understand that they have been made alive in Christ, and are seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. These are the ones who understand that we can do nothing without the grace of God. These are the love walkers and not merely the love talkers. Praise God. These have gone through the fire of purification and know that only In Him,  have we been made the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Only by spending much quality time with the Lord in His holy presence and written word, and by much prayer does the Holy Spirit give this revelation to us. Our time given to the Lord is how we buy gold refined in the fire that we may be rich and white garments that we may be clothed, that the shame of our nakedness may be revealed; and have our eyes anointed with salve that we may see just as Revelation 3:18 says. Let's keep walking in our journey with the Lord until we reach that place of revelation where God wants us all to be. Having the knowledge of His perfect will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.....

I was focusing very intently on a work project this morning when I suddenly sensed the presence of the Holy Spirit. If you haven't felt His presence yet, I would describe Him as a very loving warm presence that causes you to immediately stop whatever you are doing in order to hear what He is saying. Once you learn His presence, you inwardly longingly wait for His manifested return. I have been a little discouraged lately because the Lord has been very quiet. I have learned that He speaks to me in waves. I miss Him so much when He is quiet. Well today when I felt the Holy Spirit's gentle nudge, I basically ran to get my notebook to sit and listen and write what He had to say. I would also like to add that I rarely read other peoples prophesies anymore. It feels as if something is off in the spirit.......We have been repeatedly warned that trouble is coming. I think we are at a place where those who are willing to hear what the Spirit is saying have heard. The others will need our help when things change because they did not heed God's warnings. This message from the Lord conveys this truth.

Scripture reference: Matthew 24:6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

                                   Message received around 10:35 a.m.  12/06/2017

Listen carefully and write the things I say now. Fret not about what is soon to come. I will that none would perish, but these things must come to pass in order for My word to be fulfilled and to establish My Son's soon return. You are ready for what is coming because I have spent much attention on your preparation. You and all those who have listened are ready. You will assist others who have not listened to My warnings. You must expect to experience mental and emotional suffering due to witnessing the pain in others around you. Your soft heart will enable you to serve others, but will also cause you to deeply feel the pain and suffering others will experience. I will be with you and will strengthen you at this time. I will also speak very clear direction to you during the difficult days ahead. Trust in your Creater.

Then as I was thanking the Lord for this important message, He said,
"My quietness at times is purposed."

Thought for the Day: Perfect Heart

Scripture verse: For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is perfect toward Him...

Robin's heart: God has shown Himself faithful repeatedly in my life. He has never let me down. Not once. Not ever. Thank you Father for your loving kindness over my life. You deserve all the praise and glory for keeping me and my family safe, healthy, sane, prosperous, and loved all these years despite all the challenges. Thank you for filling my heart with your love and compassion so that I may share it with the empty hearts I encounter.

Thought for the Day: No Condemnation

Scripture verses: Romans 7:15-25 & Romans 8:1-2
For what I am doing I do not understand. For what I will to do, that I do not practice, but what I hate, that I do. If, then, I do what I will not to do, I agree with the law that it is good. But now, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; but how to perform what is good i do not find. For the good that I will to do I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice. Now if I do what I will not to do, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. I find then a law, that evil is present with me, the one who wills to do good. For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man. But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that i am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? I thank God-through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin. There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.

Robin's heart: I have always been one who is keenly aware of when I am doing something wrong. I have also noticed that some people do not have this strong sense of right and wrong like I do. I have to admit that I'm very thankful that I know when I miss God's perfect will for my life very quickly and clearly. Unfortunately, this blessing has the opportunity to cause me to fall under heavy condemnation at times because I desire to walk perfectly before my Lord but am hindered at times. I wish that I could say that I never make mistakes or commit sin, but this is not the truth. I continue to battle in certain areas and fight the good fight of faith, believing God has a plan for complete victory. The good news is that we can quickly confess our sins and our Lord is faithful to forgive. He knows everything about us. He even knows the root of why we behave the way we do more then we understand. Thank you Lord Jesus for setting us free from the law of sin and death, and for your great love and mercy towards your children.

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Thought for the Day: Wicked Worry

Scripture verse: Phillipians 4: 6&7  Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and mind through Christ Jesus.

Robin's heart: When I was searching for a picture to convey the message of this post, this baby picture caught my eye. As i was copying and pasting it the Lord was speaking to my heart. He was giving me an impression that we are just like this child. We waste much time meditating on and attempting to solve our daily problems. The truth is worrying does not change anything. We must trust God everyday and in every way. He is the Master Problem Solver. Only He knows the best solution, and His perfect purpose and plan for every situation. Plus, we can actually get in God's way by forcing our own wills into the solution. Lay aside your worries and trust Him today my friend.

More: 1 Peter 5:7 casting all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you...
Matt 6:34  Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about it's own                     things. Sufficient is the day for it's own troubles.

Thought For the Day: Comforter

Scripture Verses:  Revelation 7:13-17
Then one of the elders answered saying to me, "Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?" And I said to him, "Sir, you know." So he said to me, "These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them. They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat; for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepard them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."

Robin's heart: I love to allow these words to form a picture in my mind of the compassion of Almighty God. Our Father and Lord are so loving and kind. Brethren, allow His truths to soak into your thoughts today so that they become a part of you. No matter what your current temporary circumstances are, imagine yourself sitting on our Daddy God's lap and resting our heads on His strong shoulder, and know that He sees and wipes away every tear we shed. He is our soft landing place. Turn to Him today for all your needs. He is never too busy for you. Alleluia.

Scripture:  1 Corinthians 1:3&4 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
